Poster presentation on the use of a phantom in dynamic nuclear medicine to follow the movement of FDG through a basic dynamic system.

Presentation on the issues pertaining to segmentation in dynamic quantitative nuclear medicine. The basic idea was to highlight the technical difficulties in segmenting basic dynamic images, even of a homemade phantom, using the techniques introduced by the AAPM’s Task Group report TG211. The conclusion is that the actual methods are not yet good enough.
